$20 Entry Fee
All money goes towards the pot. I do not keep a percentage.
By Wednesday afternoon I will post the matchups for the week.
You will pick every game straight up (no spread).
You will receive 1 point for every correct pick.
You will guess the total score of the bottom game (usually the Monday night game if there is 1) to be used as a weekly tiebreaker.
Each week the lowest score(s) will be eliminated. The amount will be determined by the number of participants. For example say there are
18 participants, the single lowest score will be eliminated each week until there is a sole winner after week 18. If there are 24 participants
the bottom 2 will be eliminated the first 6 weeks, then bottom 1 after that point. Once I know how many are playing I will make clear the format
for that season. The top couple will finish in the money. The payout won't be a sole winner survivor format, but it also won't be as generous
as the pickem pools. Something in between.
Weekly tie-breakers are as follows:
- Most points (wins) accumulated over the course of the season.
- Closest total score WITHOUT GOING OVER (as in without your guess being over the actual total)
- Closest total score
- If a tie remains all will be eliminated.
Money positions and amounts will be declared once I know the size of the pot (will be prior to Week 2).
